We are growing!

Over the past six months, MHAworks has experienced unprecedented growth as a company in spite of the economic downturn. We have seen a great increase in the need for architectural services in North Carolina. Not only are we seeing many of our repeat clients coming to us with new projects, we are also seeing many new companies coming to the area seeking our expertise for the first time.

Recently we have added five new staff members to our team. Jane Harrsion McGarry, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, joined us in February serving in the role of Project Manager. In addition, Stephanie Bieber joined the team in April and will also serve in the capacity of Project Manager. Jaymes W. Carter, Associate AIA, began working with us in April as a Project Designer. In May, Asa Kamalias, an Intern Architect, was added to our Greenville, North Carolina office. In June, Ashley Andrews, an Interior Designer will be joining the Durham Office to assist our Interior Design Studio.

We are excited to announce that three notable promotions within the firm have occurred. Brian Maxwell, RA, Senior Healthcare Architect, has been promoted to Partner within the firm. Amanda King now serves in the role of Chief Financial Officer, and Albi McLawhorn, AIA, Director of the Greenville office has also been promoted to Partner in the firm. The staff of MHAworks consists of twenty-one professionals with five partners: Michael J. Hining, AIA, Barry Hill, AIA, Amanda King, CFO, Albi McLawhorn, AIA and Brian Maxwell, RA.
